American Academy of Thermology members and American Board of Thermology certified American Academy of Thermology members, Thermologist/Technicians shall use their position to provide service consistent with all applicable local, state and federal regulations; and conduct themselves as per the certified individuals primary disciple or areas of disciple.
The information they provide to get credentialed will be the truth. The member will update their knowledge and use the certification for intended purposes only. He/she will not provide false or misleading correlation based on thermal imaging.
Their use of thermal imaging will be primarily based on scientific knowledge and to meet the standard of care required. The patient will not be charged for Thermography when clinical indication is not appropriate. Clinical research will be approved by appropriate medical institutions or hospitals. The patient will sign an informed consent regarding the need for Thermography.
